This worked for me in April. Saved about $55 on my Signature AP by first buying the ticket on LMT.is there any way to get a discount on a deluxe annual pass? If you bought a discounted 5 day ticket from LMTclub and upgraded at the park would those savings carry over? Just wondering what my options are!! Thanks
I keep thinking about doing that but I get 3x points on travel so I think buying through LMT and upgrading will be my best betYou can also purchase them with gift cards that have been discounted. You still get 5% off entertainment cards purchased at Target with the red card. Or I buy them when Kroger has their 4x fuel points on gift cards.

If we purchase maxpasses each day for $10/person, would that $40 per person carry over toward the cost of maxpasses on our annual passes?
We did this with LMT in July. Bought 4 day PH tickets then upgraded. We saved $44 on each ticket. That savings was bridged so we paid $575 for a Deluxe AP instead of $619. We were able to use our MM before upgrading, we we lost out on a little bit of discounts (probably only $20-30 for the few days before we upgraded, so not a big deal to me.) MP had not started when we were there, so if you plan to upgrade to the annual $75 AP MP, paying $10/day before your upgrade might eat up your savings. Ideally, if your first day was your MM and you didn't have to worry about block out dates, you could upgrade right after your MM.is there any way to get a discount on a deluxe annual pass? I was referring to using gift cards to pay the difference when you upgrade to the AP at the ticket booth. But Credit Card rewards are great too.
I am glad to know it works! I'm really thinking about staying onsite so I might upgrade on our arrival day before we ever even go into the parks for an eveningWe did this with LMT in July. 6% cashback at grocery stores with Amex Blue Cash Preferred, plus the Kroger 4x Fuel Points = 6% Amex plus 7-14% fuel points (depends on size of your fuel tank!). That's a minimum 13% off every dollar I spend at Disneyland on the first $6,000 a year (grocery store max for Amex). Once I hit that threshold, I switch to the Amex Everyday, with 3% grocery store cashback plus Kroger Fuel Points.I keep thinking about doing that but I get 3x points on travel so I think buying through LMT and upgrading will be my best bet
Nope.Question about deluxe annual passes and max pass. Suppose my family chooses to get 4 day passes over a week during the holidays that is normally blocked off to annual passes. We do this so we can actually attend during the holidays and get a Early Morning one day. Then on the last day of our 4 day passes we upgrade to annual passes. We also want to buy maxpass with our annual passes. If we purchase maxpasses each day for $10/person, would that $40 per person carry over toward the cost of maxpasses on our annual passes?
