Our family of four is going on our very first [yeah!] on site vacation. Two DDs ages 12 and 15.I would love any advice and/or tips. I also have a question - what are the length of bus rides fron ASMo to the various parks? Thanks in advance for any and all help!

I don't know how much 'research' you have done, but I would definately suggest the Unofficial Guide to WDW. Take a look at the restaurant reviews, touring plans and highlights. The Birmbaum book is good but it is the official guide book, fun to read, etc but I think that you will get more info from the first. My other suggestion is, if the lines are long, chose the ones to the left. Sometimes that works. ;)

I would have your family make a list of all the rides they want to do, the shows they want to see and the places they want to eat. I would then have them rank their choices and say that you can guarantee that everyone would get to have their top 3 rides in each park and maybe their top 2 rest. choices and their top show. You will hopefully have some overlap. Involve them as much as you can. Have fun!!!

We stayed at ASMo last fall, and we really liked it. The bus rides weren't too bad, probably 10-15 minutes for MGM and Epcot, and MK was about 20 or 25 minutes, but it didn't seem like that long.

Thanks so much - hmmm - left lines sounds good as we will be there over fourth of July weekend....
