I was going through my plan and saw that I had written down somewhere that I should ask to wait to be seated in the main dining area at 1900s park fare, which got me thinking  I wonder if i should make requests in the other restaurants. We would be willing to wait at most restaurants for better seating but I don't even know if Disney allows requests. Here is what we have. If any of you have opinions please share.

1.) Akershus dinner
2.) Le Cellier dinner
3.) Crystal palace breakfast
4.) Kona lunch
5.) Sci Fi dinner
6.) chef mickey's

Thanks,

Debbie

The only place I ever care where I eat is at the Sci Fi...we simply request that we get a real car there...there are some that have a front and back of a car but normal tables rather then actually sitting in the car. The food is not our favorite here so sitting in a car makes the atmosphere for us which is why we eat there! Also if you have an ADR and when you check in you have them make note of this we have never waited for then 5mins past our ADR time usually we get called in before our actual time if we check in early!

You mean have them make a note at the restaurant once you arrive, right?

Thanks,

We had a seat right next to the door that the characters at Chef Mickey's enter and exit from and it was fantastic. My son got lots of great character time!

The times we have been at Askershus, we were seated to the left near the photo shot. I would ask to sit in the main dining area. I always felt like I was not in the same atmosphere BUT the advantage sitting there is the Princess come thru that side door 1st.

I don't think it matters at Chef Mickeys and definitely not Crystal Palace since it has 2 large dining areas.
