HI,

WE requested a non-smoking bldg since my son has terrible asthma. I don't really know what bldg are non-smoking though. Our kids can't swim that good so should we bring our own life vest for them in case the pool gives out of them? Any other advice would be great. We are leaving June5th!
Thanks

Here is what Deb Wills site has to say about the smoking rooms :

There are approximately 1,000 guest rooms ; 946 rooms have 2 double beds and 62 rooms have a king-size bed (with a higher room rate). There are also 12 disabled-accessible rooms. There are smoking and nonsmoking rooms (Buildings 2, 4 and the top 2 floors of 6 are designated Smoking rooms.). The typical room is 314 sq. feet.

As for the vest I would take your own just to be safe.

Hi, we just got back from POFQ and I don't think that Building 4 is a smoking building. I think only Building 2 is smoking, and maybe the 3rd floor of building 6. Otherwise the rest of the resort is non-smoking.
As for advice, not much. The resort is very small, and I really don't think there's such a thing as a bad room at this resort. You must try the beignets, and definitely spend some time strolling the resort. The landscaping is gorgeous and very romantic. Have fun!

We just got back and stayed in Building #4. It was a nonsmoking building. It was nice because it was right next to the food court. But all the buildings were within good walking distance to everything.

The landscaping is wonderful. We got to walk around once while we were there. We had to cram so much in our trip because we were only there for 4 days, so we really didn't get a chance to enjoy the resort as much as we wanted to. My kids didn't even get to swim in the pool because we ended up going to Blizzard Beach. It also rained quite a bit while we were there. I would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful time.

We stayed in BLDG #5 last time-definitely non-smoking. As far as the vests, they had a big bin of them, there were quite a few. But the pool wasn't as busy when we were there (early March) so probably taking your own is a good idea. Have a great trip!!!! Oh and ditto about the beignets-a must have treat!! YUM! :wave2:
