I finally made a reservation (ok, actually it's on hold until I decide the question above)! Woohoooo! We're gonna be on the 12/10/05 7 day Eastern. This first-timer is beyond excited. Now we have to choose a cabin. Any general tips for getting a great cabin? (I know - they are all great, right?)
Anyone have a favorite cabin to recommend?
We will have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and expect them to spend *some* time at the lab/nursery. So we wondered if Deck 5 might be the best option. However, I know there aren't a lot of them available, might be sold out for all I know. Are the views from Deck 6 slightly better being higher? Forward, aft or midship preferences? Which has the least amount of motion? We were thinking midship might be a good option, somewhat near the stairwell to Deck 5 yet far enough from the elevator lobby that there wouldn't be any noise carryover. Does one side of the ship - port or starboard - have a better view than the other? We were thinking having a view of land as we left port would be really exciting for the kids - which side is that or do they both?
Anyway, I am super flexible right now because I am not fully informed but I don't want to make a mistake that will be difficult to change later, KWIM? (That has been the case with our WDW trip coming up and I want to plan this one a little better - we're gonna have a MAGICAL time regardless but still ...)
Thanks for any advice!
