Any advice for a Halloween costume?

My son is 6 years old and has some developmental delays. They can dress up for school but I don't know what he could be this year. It needs to be something simply constructed that he can maneuver himself for when he has to go to the bathroom and something not too hot because he tends to get warm anyway.

I've looked at every store in our town and can't find anything that isn't one piece or furry.

I can sew, but time is running out!!

He's been in the past, Tigger, a cow, a bumble bee, Bob the Builder and an army man. Can anyone help me?

Peter Pan. Cut a large sweatshirt into a tunic. Give him some green sweat pants or long johns. Make a brown felt belt. Green felt cap with red feather!. We made one for a little guy in our school. He manuevered very well! It also only cost us about $9.

I should have added that by the time you cut the sleeves to 3/4 and cut out the neck and trim the bottom, it is a very airy costume.

My son was a skeleton one year. We got a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants and cut out the shapes of bones from white felt and glued them onto the sweats with fabric glue. If the sweats are too hot for him, you can get a black long sleeve T shirt and maybe lighter weight black pants. He wore a mask, but you could just paint his face white to make it simple.

Those are awesome ideas thank you so much. I was almost panicking with not being able to come with anything and I don't want him to be the only one without a costume because his lame mom can't think of one.

(I haven't decided which one I'll go with yet, but definitely one of the two and I'll save the other one for next year!!)
