Any 10-16-04 cruisers yet?

DH and I are planning on going to the Art of Entertaining: Fruit Carving and Cocktail Mixing at 2pm on Sunday. Does anyone know how long it lasts. I don't want to miss the Wine/Whine Party. ;)

The Golden Mickeys matinée is also at 2pm. Then at 3pm there's Mr. Toads Wild Race. Too much stuff to do and not enough time to do it.

I had to add two more people to our LTT ressie so our time has been changed to 5:55 (on the 14th). Anyone else going then?

I've got you Libby! Sorry I forgot to add you to the post I made earlier.

Welcome Dave! I have added you to the list of Dis'ers going on the cruise. What ages are you children? We are adding them to the list.

We can move the wine/whine party to Monday if people wish or change the time for Sunday. If we move it to monday, then those people going to the wine and food carving can show us a thing or two!!

Added my countdown today!! It's getting real!!! We might have my stepdaughter join us, MIGHT!! Right now her mother is being a poo head and doesn't want her to miss school. We are still working on her. My "daughter's" name is Anna Marie (14yrs) and wants to go real bad, but her mother #$%@^@^%#$$#!!!! Let's keep our fingers crossed so she could go. We've got to know soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wilderness girl can add us to the roster:

cabin 2590
me-Deb
DD 24
DS 12

cabin 2592
Grandpop
Grandma

I hope Anna Marie gets to go :) .....hopefully the poo head will come around. Fingers are crossed here!

Julie- We are keeping our fingers crossed for Anna Marie also, my DD14 Lydia is wondering if there will be any girls her age from the boards she might correspond with prior to crusing!

Thanks for all the well wishes for my kitty, she is doing better!

Hi gang!!! Looks like there are some "Princes" on the board now! Is it just me, or is the counter a little GOOFY? All of us here (she and I) are counting that there are 88 days until we leave (October 7, 2004) am I trippin'? I know I live in a Hippie Town and all, but I didn't inhale the smoke.... Hmmm... Not to sound like a newbie, but we'll be at deck seven on Sunday or Monday - whenever you all decide...if you point out the "secret" spot ::yes:: I don't know if there'll be a trail of lime green and duct tape obvious enough for me to follow! So excited, just don't know what to do with myself!!! Also, for those of you who are new and don't wanna' scroll through all the old messages, we are:

Mekayla DancingBear princess: (7)
Thea LittleBear :earsgirl: (34)

We live in Eugene, Oregon and I dunno' the room number yet, we haven't gotten the assignment. Sign us up for the fun, and make way for the tiaras!

Hi everyone!!!! Just stopping in to say hiddy ho! Making my list of things that need to be done or bought for the cruise. I'm hoping to get a new formal dress for the cruise since I'm trying to lose weight before we go and I'm hoping that my other cruise formals are going to be too big (I know, wishful thinking!!! But a girl can dream can't she?).

No news yet on whether the poo head is going to let Anna Marie go. I'll keep you posted!!! Does anyone have a voodoo doll???:teeth:

Well, gotta go. Will check back in later!!!! Hang in there everyone!!!! Start shining those Tiaras!!!!!!!!

I have a voodoo doll.......coincidently it looks just like Dr. Igor

Thea: Our counters are for October 16th or wwhenever we are getting to WDW.

Sorry Julie, I don't have a voo doo doll.

How about we do the wine party on Monday afternoon?

How about we do the wine party on Monday afternoon?

I vote for Monday. What are the details of this party? Is it just adults? Just DIS members? Do we bring wine to share? Where do you get the glasses?

At our last wine party, we had everyone, including families. It was fun. I think we ordered wine glasses from room service and brought them with us, along with a cheese plate.

I'm tring to plan where to stay before the cruise. We have concidered doing MNSSHP on thursday or maybe discovery cove on friday. DS would like to swim with dolphins but when given a choice between the to well he picks Halloween party. We 've also thought about Ron Jons. Next ? is anyone else driving and were will you leave your car. Dh is not sure were the safest place is(Hotel or Port)  :

batchler ~ We're staying at our house the night before the cruise. :teeth: We're driving and parking at the port, like we did last time.

Denine ~ How big is the secret deck? There are 12 people in my family. I don't think they'll all want to go, but you never know.

Hey Batchler:

We are staying at Ron Jon's this time. For the same price as a king suite at the Radisson $138, we have access to a "lazy river" pool, big slide area , children's play area, washer and dryer in the room, two-bedroom suite, and free movies. Plus we just wanted try something other than the Radisson.

Last year hubby dropped us off at the port and then took the car back to the hotel. The shuttle is usually crowded and it is better if there is only one person trying to get on and not 4 people with luggage. The shuttle at Ron Jon's is $5 per person.

Although we only had a rent-a-car, we didn't have any security problems leaving the car at the hotel. Also, at the port parking is $10 a day which could be spent on Bloody Mary's and Hurricanes....priorities , ya know!

Hope that helps a little!

I'm a little excited here! :Pinkbounc

A. We made our ressies for Palo (dinner, brunch, and high tea) and the spa and got the days and times we wanted. (Thanks, Leslie!)

B. We booked an Illuminations cruise for the Tuesday night before the cruise.

C. And we are taking a trip to New Orleans next month! We just booked the trip and a "Two plantation/Swamp tour". I'm going to a Swamp! Gonna look me up some gaters! Better be a big boat or I'm not getting in! (Speaking of swamps... we just had a very bad storm here and our back yard is looking a little like one!)

Talk to you all later :wave2: Bye.....Denise

Ok Denise, how did you book Palo's and everything else? Did you book the romance package?

The Deck 7 "secret deck" is a fairly good size! We had about around 11 families out there. Most of the kids were at the clubs so it was mostly adults, but we had a few kids there and it wasn't bad at all. We just stacked up the chairs and had the entire deck for the gathering.

We have parked at the port for our first three cruises and hadn't had a problem. We find it easier to park there since we usually stay at Disney the day or two before and we love getting to the port early. We get so excited when we pass the cruiseline buses going the other way!!!!!!:teeth:

My hubby will hopefully post before the cruise. He is boardwalkgarry. He works nights and sleeps days so he can't post as often as he would like. He is a sgt. for our police department. Some of his stories are unbelievable! You never know what goes on in your city after dark!!:earseek:

Well, gonna go! Have a great Thursday!!

Hey Batchler, if you want to be added to the "list" of cruisers, I need who is cruising with you and what is your stateroom number (opt. most people have their stateroom). Everyone who would like to see the "preliminary" first draft, PM with your email address and let me know what you think of the list.

It's Vandawho's birthday today!

Happy Birthday Jill!!
:love2: :cheer2: :cake: :daisy: :bday:

Love you, Mom

(Julie....I did book the Romance package...but not for the romance! ;) )

Happy Birthday JIll !!!!! :cake: :bday:

I think Monday would be great for the wine get together. What are most people bring red or white?
