Anxiety dreams?

Does anyone else have these in the run-up to their trips?
A quick overview of mine!

The parks are packed / run-down
It's freezing cold
Went to Crystal Palace for b/f and one DD wouldn't come in, one DD was ill and crying, one DD freaked out with the characters.
Nothing goes to plan and we miss our ADR's.
We have to take another child with us who is an uncontrollable toddler.

Please tell me it's going to be OK!

Yep I have those every year! The most common is that I wake up and realise its departure day and I haven't packed, I'm trying to quickly pack and I can't find anything and I realise that I can't get to the airport on time Another rarer dream I have is that we get to the MK and its a total dump! Its overgrown and the rides look like cheap fairground rides . Its funny but I only have these dreams before a WDW holiday, I've never had one when we go somewhere else

I had weird dreams before and after.

I think it was the stress of me sorting everything and worrying it would all go ok

Yes - I dream about it being a dump and like a fairground too. No other holiday takes this long to plan and is this expensive - perhaps that's where the stress is from.

Same here! I have organised EVERYTHING. But would I have it any other way? lol

Juliette, everything will be ok. lol.

We should have a group session for these dreams. I have them before trips, the worst year was when we were getting married in Disney. I had some real wake-you-up-in-the-night type dreams.

The good thing is they pass, you'll go on your trip and you'll have the most amazing time. x

I do too, my most recent was forgetting our passports and not being allowed to fly

Another was getting to the airport and realised we hadn't packed so had to go and get them but missed the flight lol

Mine are mainly about forgetting something!

I'm with you - a big sufferer of PWDWTSD - Pre walt disney world traumatic stress disorder.

I drive my family mad and only truly get excited about my holiday when we pass under the WDW sign - i figure at that point I could drag my own luggage if needs be

The first few nights in any hotel is awful for me, nightmares, vivd dreams - when I took Daniel for Hospital treatment for a month in Austria, I had the worst problems sleeping, ended up needing meds..

I guess it's stress coming out in some fashion.

I totally can relate to this and I thought it was just me I often have dreamt that I've had to go to the airport straight from work and had to meet DH on the run away, me running to the plane in my work suit, usually cuz it's complete madness finishing up at work before going. Also, not a dream, but I remember the day before our last trip having the head ache from hell during packing I felt really sick.....and also after the mammoth planning and excitment and cost of it all, just before going a little voice in my head whispers, "are you really going to enjoy it as much this time - is it gonna live up to the memories" and of course it's always better than I remember. Which is a relief but no doubt that little voice will pop again.

I have those types of dreams in the run up to our holiday. The most common one is 'you have 30 mins to pack and leave with no time to plan'.

This is my repeated dream - with everything else I have got to the point of not worrying about - I can get anything else out there as long as I have passport, DL & purse (with CCs) nothing else matters!
