I have a question I'll be taking my aunt to Disney World she has really bad anxiety attacks with escalators. I know that some of the rides run with a moving escalator for people to go in the rides. Can I ask the CM to stop the escalator for my aunt to get on it?

The two rides that the moving walkway CANNOT be stopped or slowed are Tomorrowland Transit Authority (TTA) and Peter Pan. Other rides like Buzz Lightyear can be slowed; I am not sure if they can be stopped completely.

Space Mountain has a moving walkway to get out the exit (it moves up, but doesn't have "steps"). I'm not sure if there is a way to get out that avoids this and I don't think that they'll stop it (it's not like you are getting into or out of a ride car, so the need for extra time is not an issue). I don't remember if any other rides have moving walkways/escalators as part of their exits.

I would suggest you asks the CM before you get in line for the ride that has an escalator just to make sure. It doesn't hurt to asks.
