Hi all!
I'm looking for an "antique district" in the area surrounding WDW. While I will be in the parks with my kids for the week, my parents took advantge of the 4/3 deal and extended their stay for 3 days. My father is NOT into all things Disney (I know..the horror!) and has expressed interest in finding a local area to shop in. (We have cars, so transportation isn't an issue) I would define a good antiques district as one with numerous antique shops w/in walking distance, or a couple of co-ops. Minimal reproductions and candles and such. True antiques only, or flea markets with tons of vendors that sell new and old (like giant outdoor yardsales)
Any suggestions? I saw that North Orange St. in Orlando seems to hvae several antique shops, but is about 45 minutes away. Anything closer?
Thanks!
