Antics at Prime Time??

My DDs love going to Prime Time because every time we have gone they have been called Little Princesses princess: princess: , so when we talk about going they always ask is it the resturant that they are called Little Princesses. I think the CM realize my older DD would freak if she was made the center of attention. I have always been impressed how well the CM we have gotten can read people who might not enjoy the antics. My DH enjoys the antics so he is the one in the family who gets picked on. :)

We ate there once. I HATE being the center of attention so I was nervous the entire meal. :worried: Luckily we had a pretty big party so I didn't get that much attention. Dh I guess was being messy with his meal so they made him wear a plastic Little Mermaid bib and the waitress sang a song "purposely" horribly while she put him on it.

A lot of the time our waitress would stand in the middle of the room and just chat real loudly with all the tables at the same time.

Prime time is a great choice. The best advice is to not expect too much.

We have had servers who did absolutely NOTHING special, not even introduce us to our 'cousins' at the next table.

We have had servers that have really interated with our group (my dad was put in the corner, he really should stop snitchin' on us :rotfl2: )

Dad has also had a bib on, he is really bad at this place!

When it is just my DH and myself, the interaction is much tamer.

We saw the green bean sundae delivered to the mom at the table next to us last time. Now that was funny!

Your experience will depend very much on your server, as well as your personal interaction with the server. Best thing, don't expect too much, and really appreciate the food! Mom is an awesome cook

Go to allearsnet.com and look for the menus. Deb does a great job keeping them updated so you'll know what's available and what it costs...

One thing to keep in mind that even though Prime Time is tons of fun, you may not get to eat your meal in peace! Our server was cousin Lydia, and her interaction was great. But it got to the point when I was thinking Ok enough, because it seemed like she'd come over to our table every 3 or 4 bites of food, and made it difficult to eat. I would totally recommend this place for those who want to laugh throughout their meal, and be a part of a mini theater show, but if you think it'll be a distraction from your meal, read all the trip reports you can about PTime so you'll be prepared!

Just a side note, but in our experience, there was more interaction at Prime Time than at Whispering Canyon, which is another zany place to eat.

Have fun!

We had cousin Bob. He was great. He made my son set the table which he loved. He is 8. Then he told the kids that he does not like to work so they will have to do all the work. Elbows off the table and clean your plate. Bob and another waiter were picking on each other near our table and made the kids laugh. Then my dh was called a tattle tale when he told on our daughter for having her elbows on the table. We had a great time.
