Anteater at AK?

I've never seen an anteater at AK

AllEars has a picture of the anteater and lists it being at the Oasis Gardens area. Wonder if it's gone now.

Watched for quite a while one day around closing. Really cool animal. Came out close to us in water ..... to poop. I have pics somewhere. Sadly the enclosure has been empty last couple visits.

In Oasis on left path as you came into park.

Yes, in the Oasis on the left side as you enter. He's not there anymore.

I remember the anteater but he/she has not been there in at least 2 years. Last summer I asked about it and was told the anteater was "moved" because it didn't like the construction noises

That would make sense with Avatarland so close. The last time we walked through slowly we felt the area was very empty of critters and maybe that is why.

Returning to this old thread.

Post on the touringplans blog today shows an anteater in the enclosure. This is great news. Maybe better than Pandora.

It's been two years, more or less.
