My family of 4 just enjoyed another wonderful trip to Disney, we just got back this past tuesday, 9/26- boohoo!!!!! I have to gather my thoughts and get to writing on this board to tell you all of our great adventures.

I will start by telling you the highlight and downfalls of my trip.
We ran into Kobe Bryant at Epcot. My sons were chasing him around snapping pictures. His bodyguard wouldn't let the boys take a picture with him because he was with his family- that's understandable. The downfall of our trip was flying AirTran. If I heard the word "delayed" come out of the pilot's mouth one more time I was going to scream. When we arrived in Atlanta we sat on the runway for like a half hour because there were no gates to pull up to. So the plane finally pulls in D1 gate. We had to haul booty to get to C7 to catch our next plane- one good thing they did was hold the plane because there were enough people coming back to Buffalo, thanks neighbors.

When I have the time I will post my family's disney world adventures. Trying to get caught up at work right now!!!!

I am anxious to hear the ups and downs of your trip......sounds like you had a good start anyways.......we are always delayed in Atlanta.....

Hi everyone- sorry it has taken so long to get back on these boards, I have been so busy trying to catch up with everyday life, what a drag.

My family of 4 really enjoyed ourselves this year. We stayed at AS Sports in the surf's building #1. The room was very nice and clean, just a little small for 4 people. We stayed 9/19-9/26. I ran into slightly goofy (a member on the disboards) at the stunt show at MGM. I sat down right next to her. She had a lime green disboars t-shirt on so I couldn't of mistaken her if I tried, lol. The weather was beautiful- wasn't as hot as last year.

Let's see: We ate at"
Chef Mickey's for Breakfast- very delicious and fulling, the character were awesome, they came around at least 5 times to everyone's table.
50's Prime Time Cafe- great crazy antics going on at this place, the food was great but very small and fancy on the plate. I had a mixed drink with the lit up ice cubes in the glass, that was cool.
Whispering Canyon Cafe- another crazy fun place and boy do they feed you there, we all had the skillet and the food just keeps coming. My 13 year old son drank 6 milkshakes.
The Luah Show- this was probably the best meal that we had at disney! Again the food was scrumptious. I had a Lapu Lapu, quite pricey at 15 dollars, not enough drink for that price however.
LTT Character Dinner: this place was awesome. We ate their on friday, 9/22 right before the halloween party started at 7pm so the character were all dressed in their halloween gear, quite entertaining. The food at this restaurant reminds me of thanksgiving dinner and boy were we stuffed like a bunch of turkeys, lol. This is a definite must on next year's trip.
For Lunch we ate at Flametree Barbecue in AK- as usual the barbecued ribs were out of this world. If I can remember right I believe the rest of our lunches were at AS Sports food court.

My sons rode Expedition Everest several times and I had to jump at Kali River Rapids first before we did anything else at AK. We visited this park on our first full day at disney, wednesday- 9/20. We had a great time, went on the safari again. I missed the pangani forest- that is nothing new, haven't been through it yet.
MGM was awesome, must rides were TOT AND ROR Coaster for the boys, me and my husband are scaredy cats, lol. I actually got to see the stunt show this year, that was pretty cool.
At Epcot I mentioned earlier in my first quote that we ran into Kobe Bryant- that was exciting. We toured the World Showcase. I stopped at Germany and had a very strong dark beer- I feel like a lush because it was only 11:30 in the morning. I hadn't ate anything for breakfast that morning so I was feeling no pain :joker: :joker: :joker:

We attended the halloween party on friday, 9/22. That was okay but I don't think I will go next year. I think the price was kind of steep for what they offer- that is just my IMHO though- I hope others had a great time!!! MK is my favorite park. As usual Splash Mountain was our first ride. We caught the train as usual and got off at Frontierland to enjoy my favorite all time ride. I came off that pretty soaked because my 2 sons, who were sitting in front ducked when we went down the big drop so my husband and I got the majority of the water right in our faces. WHOOSH!!!!!!!!

I guess I am pretty fortunate because my sons are ages 13 and 17 so they can go off by themselves. We give them a walkie talkie and they run away. I guess they are getting to old to hang around mom and dad now. However that gave us more time to go exploring this year and actually see stuff that we didn't pay attention to because of always hurrying to the next ride that the boys wanted to go on.

I have to comment on the bugs- yuch!!!!!!!! They were everywhere this year-way terrible than last September. I think they are lovebugs, right?? We were sitting waiting for the bus to come and I would look down and about 20 of them would be on the sneakers, sorry animal lovers and all of you PETA people out there but they were smooshed like pancakes, lol.

We had such a wonderful time. My younger son and I are going back now in December for 4 days- can't wait to see the xmas stuff!!!
