Another...Which resort would you pick?

We decided to have a road adventure this summer.

We are driving from Wisconsin to VB for a bit and then up to HHI for a bit before driving back home.

We are going to spend one night at WDW. We will not go to the parks. We will likely spend the afternoon/evening/morning at the resort and/or DTD.

We are thinking OKW because of the boat to DTD.

What resort would you choose and why?

AKV or BWV. AKV because there is so much to enjoy at the resort. BWV because there are so many dining options without setting foot inside the park.

I as well would suggest both AKV or BWV.....Like the pp stated AKV has so much to offer for non park days. Whether just lounging by the pools or all the resort activities, you'll have plenty to do and see.

BWV on the other hand has a nice pool area as well.But the different activities right there on the boardwalk are unbeatable. Plus numerous places to grab a bite. Also you can take a nice boat ride even if you don't want to venture to a park.

Hadn't really thought about BWV.

NP. BTW. If BWV is booked you can also try BCV which is right across the lake by BWV.
