Ok, I'm bored, which means my default interest is Disney planning. We are taking a small trip May 22-27, catching part of a Star Wars weekend. We are on the dining plan as we used it last Jan. and am now addicted for the sheer convenience of it. I know everything is personal choice, but my husband has no interest in helping so I wanted some outside thoughts. I want to start out by saying the online ADR system is evil!!!Before I had to think about what I wanted and make productive phones calls. Now I check on a whim and find things I think I "have to have" and can't stop booking (but none are double booked). We are a party of two adults, 5year old son and 9 years old non-princessy daughter. We were just there in Jan 2009. Here's what I have:
5/22- dinner at Ohana
5/23 -dinner at 50's Prime Time, ate there in 2001 and loved it
5/24 -Yak & Yeti ate there in 2009 and though it was the best meal we had
5/25 -this is where is gets complicated
Had Garden Grill for the character experience and the food was good in 2001. Ressie is 6:45 for dinner. Was playing around today and snagged Le Cellier for lunch at 11:30. I was amazed to find an opening, but torn between dropping one or keeping both.
5/26 -again, evil online makes things complicated. Had Crystal Palace for breakfast at 8:10. Very excited and looking forward to it for the characters and the food. Then today was able to get basically my choice of ANY time I wanted at CRT. I felt I couldn't pass it up so I booked dinner at 7:10. I had read princesses may be at dinner by then, but even seeing Cinderella for pictures would make my daughter happy enough.
So now I have 8 TS credits booked and only have 5. If I keep them all, I plan on just paying OOP at MK. I think I want to do CRT just for the experience as I have read reviews and know the food may not be outstanding. It would also be our one special thing for the trip, last time it was a fireworks cruise. What would you do/think? I think Epcot is my biggest dilema as Le Cellier would be more for my husband and I and the Garden Grill would be more for the kids. Any thoughts.
