Another "What bag?" thread

I really like my Kata 3n1-10, but it's too small to take everything with me when we leave in 2 weeks. My Kindle and Kindle Fire should fit in the laptop compartment and the ponchos can go there while we're in the parks. It can also accommodate a tripod which I'm thinking of picking up before we go. Two years ago I bought the next size up, the 467 and it was super comfy, but only while using the chest strap so I returned it. I'm hoping the smaller 466 won't have that issue.

NLD--I've bought and returned so many bags!! They all feel too bulky or don't hold my camera and the extra lens, so I bought a neoprene sleeve for the lens and a neoprene cover for the camera. I can put them both in my Vera Bradley backpack purse. I always carry this in the parks and it's comfortable. I'm leaving tomorrow, so I'll let you know how it works.

Will be interested to hear how it works. Last year I didn't use a camera bag either.... I wore the camera all day and just threw my extra lens into my regular bag. It worked okay, but I'm trying to bring more lenses this time (including that monster 80-200) so not sure about it this time.

I really liked the neoprene camera cover and lense cover. I usually carried it around my neck; just put the cover on and put it in my Vera Bradley backpack for rollercoasters. I'm very amateur and don't carry lots of equipment. This worked for me.

I have a Lowepro Slingshot 102 AW and a Flipside 300. The Flipside is definitely more comfortable but the Slingshot more convenient(faster to access camera). the Flipside can be access without taking it off, you can spin it around and accesses from the back. I used the Flipside to carry my D5100, 35 f1.8, 18-55, Rokinon 8mm Fisheye, Sigma 70-200, SB600, and accessories. The Slingshot can carry everything but the 70-200 and has a raincoat built in. Both have tripod holders but I prefer the one on the Flipside. It's awkward carrying a tripod on a sling bag. Both bags have there advantages.
