We are going to Disney at the end of September. I know it will still be hot, but is the humidity still high than also?

THANKS!

Hi, we have been in Sept 4 times (anywhere from the 15th through the end of the month). From our experience it is still very hot and humid (not unusual for 90's with 80+ humidity. But, like everyone says, drink, drink, drink, take breaks and if you are on the dining plan that really seems to help get you out of the heat and rest. Last year when we went, I can remember at least 3 days of our trip feeling unbearable but it is Disney so you make the best of it.

Have fun.

I went the last week of September in 2002, and it was quite hot and humid (more than I expected, and I lived in Florida for a year!). Even the last week of October can be very hot and humid. Unless you go much later in the year (November, December), you have a good chance of having some significant heat and humidity.

It depends, year to year. Generally it is hot. But not as humid, and sometimes you get a nice breeze.

we were there last year in september (and going back this year in september - yea!!!) and it was very very humid!!!! we would walk out the door of our hotel in the morning and my camera would fog up or my sunglasses would fog up. it was pretty crazy. and you could just be standing there and you would start to sweat. not so pretty. but hey, it's disney and it's worth it. :goodvibes

We were there middle of October last year and still too humid for me!

We were there last Sept fr a three day weekend, very very hot and humid swore that we would never do it again....

That being said we will be there again for 8 nights in Sept. Free dinning got us :teeth:

Florida can be unbearably humid in September; just because it's "almost fall" in the north doesn't mean it will be comfortable in Florida. When people ask why I moved from FL to WI, I have one answer: the humidity!

If you're not from a "humid" state, you'll likely find the weather to be very "hot & sticky" in September. :guilty:

We're going in September and every day that it's 90+ with 70%+ humidty I turn to my DD8 and say, "you know, this is how hot it's going to be at Disney, maybe worse..."

Eek! I can't handle the heat! :sad2:
Sounds like it will still be hot and steamy when we go in September!

Oh well, we've been going for walks on the trails in the local forest recently (to get our legs ready for WDW) and usually its unbearably hot. Because my parents have gone to Disney (in July, but still) I always ask them if this is how its going to feel in Disney and usually the response is 'Its going to be worse' followed by a groan from me. :rotfl:

;) I do the same thing. We are going the last week of Sept. for the first time (We normally go in Nov. or Dec.) to take advantage of the free dining.
I have been warning my girls about this summer heat and humidity for this upcoming WDW trip. They are pretty sick of hearing it.......oh well. We did go to Walmart yesterday and purchased the battery operated misting fans. We bought four so that each family member will have one. I hope that will help some.
