OK, we are planning on heading to the waterparks during our stay and would like to know how deep are the pools that the slides end in?

I know this is silly but I can't swim....long story. I would love to try the slides I am just a little worried about landing in a deep pool and choking lol. I am not too worried about the slide itself or getting water in my face, what I am worried about is being submerged in water once you get at the end of it.

Kinda scared my tube will make me tumble over once I get at the bottom and I will find myself totally submerged. I know this is sad, a grown woman that does not know how to swim....I would love to do a couple of safe slides with the kids...no summit plummet. I just don't want to spend the day at the lazy river or in the pool.

Thanks!

I'm not sure of the exact depth of the landing pools, but they are only about waist deep. Some don't have landing pools, such as summit plummet, they have long runouts on them. You shouldn't have any trouble.

Most of them land you in what is waist deep water, at least for me- 5'6". You might want to ask if someone can wear a life jacket, like the boating kind, if you are nervous. There is a possiblilty that your innertube could tip, and if you are deathly afraid of the water you could check out the landing before you go up the ramp.
