Another Waitlist Question

I need 4 days . Sat, Sun, Mon and Tues. Sat and Sun are available Mon not available and Tue is Available. Any ideas on how to get the 3 available days and the waitlist the single day? TIA

I have a reservation for the 4 full days with a Lake view, just trying to get a standard view to save some points. If it doesnt come through I am fine.

A lot would depend on whether you have extra points to work with or not. If you have unused points to work with, then book the 2 nights (Sat & Sun), waitlist Mon with the stipulation that it replaces the Lake View reservation and book Tues.

If you don't have a lot of points to play with, book Sat. and Sunday as Std View. Book Mon and Tues as Lake View and then waitlist Mon and Tues for the Std View with the stipulation that the waitlist replaces the Lake View reservation. You run a risk of the waitlist not getting fulfilled and you end up with a split stay.

The alternative is to stalk and hope that all 4 nights become available at the same time.

If you don’t have extra points to hold the days, then you have to waitlist all of them to replace the LV.

Now if you do, book what You can, waitlist the one day and have it replace the entire LV room.

Once you have all days, you can have Ms combine.

If you are willing to split stay, shorten the 4 day to 2 and book SV for first two nights and keep LV for last two. Then you can waitlist the last two and stalk!!
