another waitlist question, sorry

I am in a MK studio in June, and waitlisted for a 1 br LV, and a standard 1 BR. When I made the WL, there was 1 day avail, Tues. I didn't get it, b/c it just seemed pointless. I am fighting the urge to call daily to see if any days are open, and grab as they come open, if there are a few consecutive. This would mean a lot of moving if nothing else came through, though. When I have called a couple of times, MS seemed a little ill. "We have you on the waitlist." In other words, stop calling.

Would you just hope for the whole deal, or keep calling?

I would keep calling periodically. Just simply tell them that you kow you are on a WL for the entire trip, but checking to see if something has opened up at the beginning or end.

I did that last summer when I could only WL for 2 of the 3 views. I called to see if the other view opened up.

I ended up getting the room I wanted at my 2nd choice resort this way. And eventually, got what I wanted.
