Another use year question please

So I currently have a February use year looking for a Boardwalk contract and can’t find one I like so far with a February use year. I found an April use year contract my question is if I have a February and April use year when would I be able to combine those points for one booking?

You have to transfer points between contracts in order to use together and you can do that each UY for that one and the next one.

Transferred points don’t play nice online during the home resort booking g period, even if the same resort so it does require a call.

You also won’t see them except when you go to book since they are held in a temporary contract.

And transferred points can’t be borrowed and they retain all their own rules. So April UY points stay April UY points even if you transfer to the Feb UY.

That means you have to think carefully of when you want to travel with them before deciding which ones should be transferred.

Also, banked points can’t be transferred so keep that in mind..although MS did transfer 5 banked points for me last year between my memberships after I added on new points direct. It may have been pixie dust but they do tend to allow owners more leeway when moving points between their own membership but that does not have to happen.

Wow I didn’t realize all that was involved. My fear would be that that I would have a few points left from each use year and not be able to figure out how to combine and end up losing points. Thank you for the explanation

I think you’re right! It’s just when we decided to add on we get so excited and want to buy something immediately but I agree with you I need to wait too complicated

I know that feeling But in the long run, it just makes it so much simpler to manage everything IMO. Everyone's different, but I value simplicity. I'm sure it won't be long!!!

Wow you were good luck for me! Yesterday afternoon I received an alert that a perfect contract for me was available! My current use year, the exact amount of points I wanted, some banked and current year points. I jumped on made an offer and now it’s off to Disney for ROFR! Thanks for the advice and wish me luck with ROFR
