Thank you for keeping us updated. Nicole is very lucky to have a husband that is so caring and supportive. I am keeping your family in my thoughts.

Steve, I'm so glad that you felt comfortable with the Oncologist. Surely that will help as you go down this tough road.

You all are in my thoughts all the time, and even though we've never *met*, I feel like I know you and your family. My heart goes out to you as parents of a young child, and can appreciate how difficult this must be on you both.

I truly pray for the best possible outcome for Nicole. Thanks for keeping us updated, and let us know when you get more information.

Hoping for the best possible outcome for your wife and family. Prayers continued of course.

Steve, I will continue to pray for your wife and your entire family. I will pray for good test results and avoiding chemo if at all possible.

Thanks for the update, Steve. I had been wondering what the latest news was. I sure hope you get the best news possible from the CT scans and PET scan this week.

Continuing to keep her in my prayers. {{{HUGS}}}

Thanks for the update, Steve. I had been wondering what the latest news was. I sure hope you get the best news possible from the CT scans and PET scan this week.

Hello again Steve and Nicole,
Just to have some sort of base this is what I went through with Hodgkin's Disease.
2 nodes on the right side of my neck, and a mass in my chest. The surgeon said I was a stage 1 B, oncologist said stage 2 A. When I questioned this they said it was a matter of splitting hairs, as the sites were above the diaphram. I was treated in Boston. I didn't have the PET scan( remember this was 10 years ago) I had surgury that biopsied MANY, MANY, nodes including the liver and they removed my spleen. I had 4 1/2 weeks of radiation to treat the 'mantle' area (neck, chest under arms) and 4 weeks to treat (unaffected area) abdominal area. Only this part upset my stomache(as a small bit of it fell in the radiation field) but this was managable.
It took longer to change clothes for the radiation treatments than the actual treatment took.
Just remember....it will give you a glowing personality ;-)

Nicole, Keep smiling !! You will be fine! I am confident of this!!! Pleas feel free to pm me or e-mail me if neded.

Steve thank you for updating us. You are all in my thoughts.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers!
