WHY???? Why do I even bother talking to my mom?? She has on opinion about everything. And has to VOICE IT. She wants me to figure everything out around HER schedule... and do it HER WAY. I know she is lonely.. But I cant let that be my problem, especially right now, you know? I wish she would get a freaking boyfriend or something!!

I have joined the masses in the realms of the technological world... I'm so freaking excited and happy

N had asked for a Nintendo DS for his birthday, talked to him more and he was really wishy washy about what games to buy and just blah... I asked if wouldn't it be better to have something that plays music, games, movies?
Well.. umm yeah but it would cost mumble mumble mumble..

Hubby says let's go to the Apple store.. really? yeah.. let's get one for all of us.. OMG really??

Swung back to pick up J and off we went to the mall.

Played, talked, played some more. Hubby waves a bag in front of our faces-- OMG he did it!


We now each own an Ipod Touch!

SWEET!

Now, I know what you are thinking.. why not just buy an IPhone? why? because it freaking costs $200 a month to have service and you're locked into a 2 year plan..

no thanks! I will keep my crappy brick of a Walmart special tracfone that we barely use. Heck we hardly use our home phone.

Hubbyis happily ading apps to them all right now.

I know huh... If it was up to me, I would have had them on Sunday. Then she was like.. You sure are gaining a lot of weight, huh?? YES. Yes I am. So are you.

The Itouch has tons of apps to download, music (just like the shuffle), games, wifi/browser , email, movies/tv shows... it's like a mini laptop in the palm of my hand.

Which is why I am having the wifi is going to be awesome. Now to find all the free wifi hot spots out there

Thanks guys!!! I am super proud of her. Granted I am a psycho perfectionist, but that project was all hers dang it and she busted her butt!!!

mine is okay.. she makes me tired listening to her yabber yabber yabber . I'm getting good at mulit tasking on the phone with her, got my whole kitchen cleaned in one conversation.

My dad though... twice a year visit is just plenty thank ya much.. onery old cuss will out live us all.

hmmmm hubby added an atomic fart app to my I touch.. cute, but considering how often the real ones fly around here.. so not necessary.

I tried playing Super Monkey Ball Lite.. did okay on training round.. thaks to the bumpers. Fell off on the first real play. Poor lil monkey fell into the ocean. eeeeeeeeaiiiiiiiiiiiahhhhhhhhhhh

But Hyenas do like to hunt at night.

We happily played with our new toys last night, took awhile to set up each one and charge up.
Today I've been filling up my calendar, it's when we are out and about that we ponder when is......? No forgetting appts or school breaks now. E is in a different school district than the boys, thus we have two different spring breaks and other days off. Little harder to juggle and plan ahead.

We laughed when MIL asked hubby "do the boys go to your school?"
OMG no way!

We explained there is a reason we live here and not in the city, the boys' district is one of the top rated in the state (high school is in top 200 in the country).

She got real quiet for awhile after that.. I wonder what she was thinking about? Hope she wasn't offended, I know she didn't make decisions on school choice whenever she moved. Not like she had a choice at the time.

We have school choice/open enrollment in MN. We happily moved here as we are on the cutting line between two very good districts, decided to go with our "home district" to skip the transfer process. Big competition to enroll in the other district, sis lucked out and won spots for both of her boys.
