I hope she steers clear into the middle of the Atlantic and leaves your cruise alone!

The good news is that is probably should be gone by the time we have to leave. Still makes me a little nervous, though.

We might want to be keeping an eye on Frances. I really don't like the projected track.

Frances isn't a tropical storm anymore ... she's a hurricane. It appears she's gaining strength fairly rapidly (85 mph winds). Let's hope Frances falls apart!

After two years of trying, I finally convinced my best friend to cruise DCL. She leaves next week and I'll feel just awful if this hurricane ruins her trip!

i hope we can do the virgin islands this time since we had steer clear last time, san juan is nice, but since we didn't make it to st. maarten last time i would liked to have gone there with st. thomas, maybe they could have made it a 4 porter like the western cruise.

but back to the matter at hand, hope frances leaves us all alone.

I am more nervous about my flight Friday night than I am about the actual cruise. If MCO shuts down because of this and I can't fly out, we'll have to consider driving.

well crsndsny, we may be in the same boat earlier than sat aft, our flight to mco is fri morn. also be advised that due to russian terror attacks security at airports is quite high and allow another 30 minutes or so for check in. but at least our flight is early enough on fri that we could jump in car and drive in enough time.

i was a little frustrated that our friend had made morning flights instead of evening flights, allowing dd to not burn up a grace day at school, and now i thank god that he was looking out for us and we didn't even know it.

Let's think positive. The power of positive thinking can do amazing things. Worked for me so far, I haven't been in a hurricane for over 10 years. Well, at least positive thinking makes me feel better anyway.

well i know that we will have a great time even on a mystery cruise, but from the looks of the hurricane track i am believing that we will be on track for st thomas and san juan and get everything that we hope for.

it looks like disney will dodge another one as the hurricane looks to be in east when magic is in west and vice versa. pd and prayers are in the air for this hurricane to miss us and our vacation to be disney magic-al.

I'll keep praying the hurricane stays out of your way. Last check was that it would be north of puerto rico by wednesday. I didn't check a map...so not sure how far north or what.

Here's the latest map for the 3 day and below is the 5 day...good news is that anything longer than 72 hours is a rough guess (though highly educated)--let's hope something steers her north and away from land.

Well, our flight leaves PA on Friday evening at 6:50. We chose late flights so that we didn't miss another school day. We have a stop in Atlanta SO if we have to, we'll rent a car in Atlanta and drive to Port on Saturday morning.

I'm glad we have all our ressies via REAS, so there is no need to be first in line.

Let's cross our fingers that we all make it there safely without weather concern. I'm sure this will be the hot topic during the next 7 days.
