(Another) Transfer Question

Hi All--

Hopefully this is a quick and easy one. I am in the midst of a transfer transaction. I am buying the points from another member that will be transferred into my account.

The points I am purchasing can either be used by November 2014 or banked by July.

So my question is...if the points are transferred into my account, are they actually bankable? Or do I have to use them by the end of their use year?

FYI - it's against DVC rules to buy transferred points, just so you know.

Transferred points can be banked subject to their original UY cut off dates.

You can't see transferred points in your account.

MS also has problems seeing and using them.

Yes, transferred points may be banked in to the next Use Year which would extend their use through 11/30/15.

In some cases, members have been able to view the transferred points in their online account (the only ones I am aware of are when they were the same Home Resort and Use Year) but still need to be applied by MS.

MS has no problem "seeing" the points but some reps are unclear about their use. If you run across one of "those" reps, I'd either request a supervisor or hang up and try again.
