Hi!
We are getting ready to go to our happy place in a couple of weeks and it'll be our first time with MagicBands and FP+. I have a few questions regarding our tickets.
We currently have 2 sets of tickets for each member of our family as we originally bought UT tickets (7-day WPFM) and linked them in MDE but later changed our RO ressie for a FD package that required us to buy 2-day tickets. However, my youngest DS' ticket is an older non-RFID 7-day ticket that was bought at CAA in 2010 but I was able to link it in MDE by calling IT. Here are my questions :

1. We initially wanted to use the 7-day WPFM this summer but are now considering upgrading our 2-day tickets to regular 7-day ones and using these ones for the trip this year and keeping the other ones for a future trip. I think it would be easier to do the upgrade over the phone as we will get there in the evening and have an early breakfast ADR. This part would be done. Would you recommend this or wait until we get there?

2. We would definitely need to prioritize these tickets. Can this be done at the concierge desk at Pop?

3. Would it be best to have the UT tickets completely removed from the MDE? Since they are "real" tickets (plastic RFID cards and not paperless), we would still have them to re-link later on? Can this be done (unlinking and re-linking)?

4. If we do remove the previous tickets from MDE, will my FP+ stay the same if we upgrade the package tickets beforehand?

5. I also need to change my youngest DS' ticket since it's not an RFID one. Can I do this anywhere (GS, Ticket office, Concierge?) and do I need to worry about anything like bridging if I want to exchange it but don't want to use it at all until like next year? Will they just exchange it without discussion?

Just considering all the options... Hope this all makes sense! :goodvibes

Thanks!

1. Personally I like to upgrade and have all things done ahead of time. But it can certainly be done when you arrive.
2. I am not sure about doing the tickets at the POP. You may want to inquire over the phone first.
3. I would unlink them these tickets. You can do that online
4. Have you already booked the FP? If so, you may lose them when you unlink the tickets.
5. Most likely your best bet is to do this a Guest Relations where they have more dealings with upgrading/changing tickets etc.
