Another thread asking for NYC help

We want to head to NYC for a night to take in the Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA with our college DSs. We are looking for a decent place to stay near the museum. Any suggestions for hotels? There are so many to choose from. It would be 1 night , December 23.

I totally love the Marriott Marquis and staying there that time of year is just breathtaking... in fact I will be there that very same week. In my opinion, there is nothing quite like walking out of your hotel into the heart of Manhattan with the option of slipping out of the crowds and into your room whenever you want. If you want a good deal sign up with their e-mail program and see what they send you. If you want to save a little money the Marriott Downtown is usually a bit less expensive.
