Another tax question....

We just had our taxes done yesterday at HR Block. They said it would take 8-15 days to get deposited into our acct. I've been checking the "Where's my refund?" but so far it's not telling me anything. Just wondering if it's closer to 8 days or the full 15 that everyone has had to wait.

Can you tell I'm anxious!??

If you had them done yesterday, why are you checking for your refund today?

I don't have any experience with H&R Block, but I'm fairly certain if they say 8-15 days, it won't be deposited in one day.

We did our own taxes, but it said they'd be deposited 9-16 days..it's closer to the 9 for us.

If you just filed yesterday, you have to at least wait for the IRS to accept your return. It usually takes a day or two. You may have your $ next weekend.

I wasn't checking to see if it was deposited yet...I was checking to see if they could tell me WHEN in the next 8-15 days it would be deposited. We have some contractors working on our basement, and I'd love to pay them next weekend with our tax money, if possible....

are you looking for just fed or for both fed and state? I'm in Maryland-went thru HR Block on the 31st and got my state back on the 5th (3rd and 4th was the weekend) so basically 2 business days. Haven't got the fed back yet. Our preparer said that if electronically filed that fed now only deposits refunds on Friday's only. So I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow
