Another Stupid Question- Booking NYE

I avoid WDW like the plague during peak holidays. I just can't stand the crowd. However, I'm off next year and considering booking HHI for NYE instead. Since I'd book to come in on the 30th of December and there aren't 30 days in February, would I call on March 2nd?

I ran into this same problem this year, booking for May 31st. If that day doesn't exist in the month you can make your ressie, you have to do it the next day. So I couldn't ressie June 30, I had to wait till July 1st. (There is no June 31st.) Good thing is nobody else can ressie either!

Yep, that's how you do it. We like NYE too, and I always have had that issue when booking. Oh, and when it's a leap year, the MS computers can't seem to compute that and it is even stranger!

If you are checking in on December 30th, then, with the new policy of booking 11 months out from CHECK-IN date, you would call on January 30th. (Or May 30th if using the 7 month booking window.)

We have gone to HHI for NYE at least 3 times (twice for 4 nights and once just for NYE) on our drive from Boston to WDW. It is actually not that difficult to get NYE there at 11 months ( easier for 2 bedroom) so I don't think the one day difference will be that critical,and the points are relatively low compared to WDW for that week(unless it falls on fri or sat). We love it during that time, but the weather is really variable(high 30"s one year and 60's another with ds swimming in the pool!). Have fun!
