Just wanted some opinions- We can't decide which would be better We will be traveling with our two daughters 4 and 2!- To take our double stroller ( maclaren side by side) or to take 2 seperate strollers ( we would have to purchase another one) I know if we had to seperate we can attach them. Is the double one hard to get around with. We are staying on property so we will be dealing with the bus. We are going in September. We will also be driving down so that part doesn't matter. Thanks for any suggestions!

Though I do not have two children I say take the double that way you can take turns vs. ALWAYS pushing a stroller. As you know the world is BIG taking turns sounds MUCH better to me :thumbsup2

it will also be easier to fit one stroller on the WDW buses than 2 :thumbsup2

We have twins, and we've done both options. Taking the double worked best for us. Using the connectors made the stroller a bit too wide for some doorways. My DH likes to ride the roller coasters, and when he was riding, or in line, I was stuck in one place with the two singles. It isn't that easy for one person to maneuver two singles. Also, when you are in an attraction, it's easier to find one stroller when you exit.

I have to disagree. I went when my kids were 4 & 2 and we brought 2 small umbrella strollers. We purchased a set of clips to clip them together but only needed those in the airport. My sister in law was with us on the trip and had her two kids in a double side by side stroller and she said that she wished she brought the smaller single strollers like we did. It it such a pain getting that double stroller on and off the bus, plus trying to get the kids on and off! The single "umbrella" style strollers collapse so easy and small. If you are flying at all, we kept them right in the stroller until we actually got on the plane. There is someone right at the gate to tag it, then they put it under the plane for you and have it ready when you come off. So easy!!!!

Oh, one more thing, no matter which stroller you bring, when you are in the park and you leave it to go on a ride, flag it somehow so you know that it's yours. We left the airline tag right on it because it was bright pink.

Hmmm... well we go all the time with my two kids (age 3 1/2 and 1 1/2), and we usually use 2 umbrella strollers.

We HAVE had an umbrella stroller stolen before at the parks... which is why I prefer to use that... they're cheaper to replace!

Getting on and off the buses with a difficult-to-fold stroller will cause a LOT of headaches.

if you do much shopping will you be able to get around with the double stroller? atleast if you know you'll be in stores you could seperate them

I also have a couple small children. For me, just renting a double stroller at the parks is easier. The less I have to lug around on buses, etc the better.

For places like Downtown Disney, I would think a couple umbrella strollers would be fine...
