A few days ago my husband and I decided to take the long way and visit WDW a few days when we drive our boys back to the University of Alabama from Dallas after Christmas. Last year we decided to go dec. 27 and got 3 days at VWL for first week of January. Guess we should have realized we would do it again and book 11 months out! Anyway, we just decided to do it again and got 2 nights at OKW and 2 nights at ssr by piecing it together day by day. We are happy with a split stay if wl for 1 resort does not come through in the next week. Fresh room and we would do the dining plan for half of the trip.. Oh, and we got dining reservations at BOG. Don't know how that happened. Usually we plan our big trips WAY in advance, but things are working out. 
oldest son is 21 today, so I think our days of traveling together are limited.
