I just managed to snag a reservation for 8:20 on a night when Illuminations is at 9. Is this too late? Its not a night that we were originally planning to be at Epcot, but dont mind changing plans for this ADR IF we were in the restaurant in time to see it.

Thanks!

You should be fine. I've never dined at R&C but have done so at La Hacienda for Illuminations, and if you're not done eating by 9 they will allow you to get up and watch the show, then come back and finish. From what I've heard it's the same way for R&C. Of course, if you are lucky enough to get a patio table in the right spot you won't need to get up at all! :)
