We are flying into MCO and want to rent a vehicle large enough for 5 of us, but not for the whole stay. Our dates are 8/15-8/21 and we need something for at least 4-5 of those days, if not all.

I've looked at Mousesavers and found many discounts, but am feeling a little overwhelmed, lol! When is the best time to 'book' a rental car, as far as price? Which discounts are the best? Any other tips/suggestions?

TIA

You are doing the right thing starting with Mousesavers. The best discounts are the ones that work best for you. Try different ones and see which gives you the lower price. Start now, if the price goes lower, book the new rental and cancel the other one.
I would suggest you start with Alamo and then National, don't forget to join National Emerald Isle for free.

You can book anytime ... We use Alamo, and we do not do the prepay..You don't have to give a deposit.. just book it online, print it out and hold onto it. Check back every couple of days to see if it has decreased. If it has rebook it and call and cancel your first reservation..... I usually end up booking/cancelling/rebooking a couple of times.....

Other discount codes are for Bjs, costco, etc... If you use the prepay there is a $5 cancellation fee.
