This really isn't about the GAC itself but rather obtaining it. We arrive 8/15 and have ADR's for 5:10 at 1900 PF. It is an Eve EMH night for MK so we thought after dinner we would head over to MK for a while. I was wondering if I would be able to get the GAC and the tag for the stroller at this time? Would that be too late? It would be more conveinant for us if I could get it while at MK that night. That way we would be set to go on our first full day at the parks on Saturday. Thanks!

No, you can go to Guest Relations to request one any time that they are open (which is the same hours as the park). If you don't want to go in, you can also go to Guest Relations which is just outside of the park.
I'm not positive whether they give the stroller tag as a wheelchair tag for your length of stay or a new one each day. I think it is length of stay, but have never used one.

Thanks, I think I read that it is length of stay just like the GAC itself. I hope it is, it would kinda be a pain to go everyday. Thanks for the info, good to know we can go right on over! YEAH!

If you have your own stroller, you will only need one Stroller as Wheelchair tag. It is sticky as an airline baggage tag. If you used Diisney Rental strollers the tag would have to be removed at the end of the day and then you would need a new one each day.

Also, if you have it on your own stroller and you will be using Disney Transport it may not be necessary to fold the stroller on the bus (but don't quote me on this).

But, unless your stroller is designed for transport, your child should still get out of it on the bus and the stroller should not be tied down with the wheelchair tiedown straps.
(Special Needs strollers that are designed for transport have their frames strengthened for that purpose. Using the tiedown straps on a stroller that has not been designed for that might cause the stroller frame to bend or break.)

We will have our own stroller but planned on folding it on the transport. It will actually be a double as we also have a ds who will be 18 mos at the time. DD is certainly capable of riding on the bus without the stroller. We just need it as a wheelchair in the parks. Thanks again for all the info!
