Actually, I think the mom-to-be should be mad at the coworker for spoiling the surprise for grandma. Maybe she had plans to tell gma herself in some way.

In my opinion, the only person that I guess 'lost out' was the mom-to-be because she missed getting the grandmother's initial reaction. Still, it's teh mtb and dtb's decision as to who get's told when and how.
