Another reason I love Kohls!

Yesterday I ran to Kohls for a robe from my grandmother, pjs for my sis, and undies for my DD. I had $80.00 in Kohls bucks, so I knew I'd be finishing off my shopping for free.

Well, I get to my turn....and the Kohls bucks had expired on Monday. I wasn't ugly about it. It was my own stupid fault for not paying attention. The cashier felt bad, I could tell. I felt like I'd taken $80 and thrown it in the trash. Well, the cashier told me that she couldn't do anything, but I should at least go to customer service and see if they'd do anything. So I did. Went to CS and told them it was my own fault and I understood if they couldn't do a thing....and guess what!? They turned the Kohls Bucks into the current Kohls bucks promo running this week! In all I got $90 because I'd paid cash for the stuff I thought I was using my Kohls bucks for.

They were so nice in there and their customer service is excellent ( and always is in that store ) I really appreciate that they went out of their way for me and I will continue to shop there. So now, next Monday I'll have another $90 and really finish off my Christmas shopping.

I love them too! Customer service told me to purchase anything with the Kohl's cash then return it for a merchandise credit card. Unlike the Kohl's cash, the merchandise credit never expires so if there isn't anything you want this time you'll always have the credit.

I love that they will do receipt look up with a credit card (so will Target). Walmart is a huge P.I.T.A. to do a look-up (must be at the same store, know the date, etc)

I was getting DD a Leapster 2 and wanted to buy it at Kohl's since I had received a gift card for Christmas. The manager took my word that it was on sale next door at Target and matched the price (I offered to walk over and take a cell phone pic). Two weeks later they started putting toys on clearance that they only carry during Christmas-time and the Leapster 2 was 70% off, I had my receipt with me and they adjusted it no questions asked. If I had to I would have bought again it then returned it later with the original receipt, but they said not to worry and took care of it for me.

I also love that they do the $5 books for charity!

I went to Kohls 2 days ago and found out my Kohls cash had expired too! I didn't think to go to CS and the cashier didn't suggest it!

Almost 90% of my shopping for Christmas came from Kohls. Cant beat their deals.. Waiting for the 15th to finish my shopping.. wahoo.

I purchased some decorative pillows for my younger sister. I wanted to purchase three more for my older sister, but there were no more. The next day, they had plenty, but the sale price was more. I went to customer service, showed my receipt and purchased three more at the better price. Kohl's- this is how you keep customers! Thank you.

I love Kohls! They have the most accommodating customer service I think I have ever seen.

I didn't know they did that! I have $20 that expired. I was so bummed when I realized it was already too late to spend as I had only had it a few days. I'm going to take it in and see what they'll do.

a while ago. The one that made the stock holder go crazy? They gave me exactly what I had paid b/c I had the receipt and the tags were still on it. No questions asked.

I was in and bought pants for my son, and when the cashier rung them up I said that I thought the price was wrong, but i was not positive. She went ahead and did a price adjustment on 5 pairs of pants anyway, taking almost $2 off each pair - I kept telling her that I really wasn't positive, and that she really didn't have to do that, but she simply said "yes, actually I do have to" ???
It made me wonder if that was some store policy?

Anyway, I am a new convert (our store just opened)

The same thing happened to me this past summer. I had $20 or $30 Kohl's Cash that had expired a few days before and they let me use it anyway. I had gone to the CS desk first to ask if there was any way that I could still use it. I probably wouldn't have even done that - I was about to toss them (kicking myself all the while) when I mentioned to a co-worker that I was kicking myself She works PT at Kohl's and told me the CS manager at the store she works at had let someone else use their expired KC just the night before.

I got some amazing Black Friday deals. Yes, I love Kohl's.
