i have read many posts and pretty much decided to do a 4 day legnth of cruise pass on our upcoming January Dream cruise. Last time I pre bought 2 passes and did not make time to go until the last night. We loved it especially the heated loungers.
I've read many threads and do not want or need the scrubs. I saw navigators from a July cruise on another site and they only list the passes as $144 a couple. Do I just tell them I don't want the scrubs and just want a regular pass. I know the spas tend to try and upsell.
Has anyone had any recent experience just buying the pass without the scrubs?

I did in July...they asked "with scrub?" I replied "no just the pass, thanks." There is an automatic 18% gratuity and it was for 1 person, so don't know if that would be different for the couples pass but think probably not. Enjoy-I love love love the Rainforest Room!

^ This. I was offered the scrubs and politely opted out. IIRC, the $144 is the couples price without the scrubs.

You can always bring your own scrubs if you want. We enjoyed ours, but you have to shlub the scrubs back and forth since they clean out the lockers each night. We ended up using some empty water bottles to take our extra scrubs home!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I am currently also wondering about booking my Rainforest Passes for my upcoming cruise (booking opened today - maybe we are on the same one? :) Disney Dream, Nov 28). Do you recommend prebooking them? I saw they come without a specific date. Or should I wait till we are on board? We will be using DCL Transport from WDW so will probably come in rather late, and we will want them for our Nassau Day. Thank you!

I'm not sure if they even sell one day passes on the ship. I've always bought the one day ones ahead of time. Especially if I know when I'm going to use them.

I'm fairly confident that you can only buy 1 day passes ahead of time and the only option on the ship is the legnth of the cruise pass which can not be bought in advance

We are headed out in October! Woohoo!!! The only thing you can book ahead of time are the 1 day passes, Length of stay are done onboard :)

I had no clue the scrub they give you was an up charge. The one time we were given it they said it was a "gift" to use while we were in the showers. We didn't use it but it wasn't presented as an up-charge or something that would make the pass less if we turned it down. This was a while ago though since we don't do the week pass anymore.

Here is another question (probably a dumb one): What exactly are the "scrubs"? I have no idea what you all are talking about. Do you mean like an outfit to wear while in the Rainforest room (like a nurse's scrubs)? Or is it like a loofah/sponge to scrub yourself in the shower?

They are body scrubs that you apply to your skin. They're often sugar or salt scrubs. I don't remember what the Disney ones are. They make them there and usually have different fragrances.

Another question about the scrubs: how are they given to you? The image I am getting is that, on the first day, they hand you a paper plate was some body scrub on it, and, if you want to use it on subsequent days, you have to carry this paper plate back and forth to your room... And if you have some left at the end of the cruise you squidge it into a water bottle to take home.

Somehow I think I am getting something wrong here! What is the real story?

When I was in there, there was a guy who kept asking everyone else if he could try some of their scrub. I guess he felt he didn't need to buy them if he could just get them from everyone else.
