She's teaching us the passé composé.
We learned it in grade four.
And I was doing it too fast and wrote 'est' instead of 'sont' for 'ils' and she was explaining me how the present of être was.
WHAT THE HELL?
I learned THAT in grade 3.
God.

I started in grade 1.
I'm an early immersion student.
All of my classes from grade 1 to grade 8 were french except for English and SOME of the specialty stuff (gym, music, etc).
We learned most of the verb tenses from grade 3-5, and in grade 8 we learned every single one of the subjonctif.
And now I feel like someones trying to compress my brain into one of a third graders.
I've been learning welsh since first grade and i can honestly say that i speak better french and german.
90% on my latest german reading test. Yay.
86% overall on my last french test. It was hard. I got full marks on the writing, only lost two on the reading but loads on the speaking because the tape was jumping.
Mm, I don't know how well I can speak french really. I think I'm pretty good, but my teacher doesn't really say anything either way. We do a few oral reports and stuff like that..
I prefer to just listen to people speak french. I love to just watch, and be able to understand.
I don't know any other languages other than French & English =)
I only fluently speak english. It's shameful as welsh should be my native language. Guess that's what you get for living in the south. I semi-speak french german and welsh.
From what I've seen of what you've written on this thread in Welsh, it looks to complicated for me to understand.
Most languages, including german, just look like a jumble of letters to me xD
While I don't know German, if I'm on a German website, I can get the gist of the navigation.. and that's about it xD
Lordy, the other day, I was on the pc and mum wanted it. So she sat down and started watching tv, and she had it on this random French channel...
And she doesn't speak French. She used to.. but now she doesn't know much other than simple things (Like hi, what's for supper, what time is it, how are you, etc).
I was like...
What are you doinggg?
So... if anyone even noticed I was gone for a while, I was in Toronto... I didn't even know I was going to Toronto, until the morning when my cousin woke me up and told me that my sisters had march break, and my mom wanted me to come and spend time with everyone. I got back yesterday though...
