You'll never believe this.......

I'm watching Pirates of the Carribean tonight.

For the first time ever.

Ouch.

I hope you like it.
The first was better then the 2nd.

Cuts on paper hearts
They can be awful deep
Lips from wear and tear on different city streets
Don't all need a home, but just a place to sleep

So I will run
Until my feet don't touch the ground
And as the waves carry me out
Keep listening
She'll never make a sound
So keep it coming and the details quiet
She's like the girl that keeps you up all night
And she'll be a secret you can keep
Keep me
Keep me

I don't have television, so I have to entertain myself for hours upon hours at a time while I sit in my house all by myself while my boy is at work.

I learn of the best music when I'm by myself though.

I love how you call him 'my boy'.

Thinking about equality for a couple days because of other posts, I started to think about all the other types of people that had been or still are discriminated against. As much as we'd like to say it doesn't exist anymore, racism is still very prominent in today's society.

I'm a Californian, and I know I hear everyday someone complaining about the mexican population in a lot of our towns. While I'm not FOR illegal immigration, I'm all for people deserving a chance at success. I hear people complaining about LEGAL CITIZENS. It just reminds me of the hatred white folks almost a century after the civil war had for blacks who were legal citizens. It's upsetting and sad to see people scoff at children who are American citizens and calling them a racial slur.

It's upsetting that I even had to get into an argument about gay marriage. So the bible states that homosexuality is an abomination. So it may not be "normal" in your book. Who are WE to judge? Every single one of us has a part of them that isn't "normal" in society's eyes. Who are we to say what's normal? It's normal to love. It's normal to feel companionship. Even if you think gay people will go to a bad place when they die...how is that affecting YOU? Why is it that the tolerance level in this country is so much lower than other countries? Why is there so much hate that we can't even come to understand love comes in all shapes, colors, and genders.

My mother is a disabled citizen of this country, and she gets treated like CRAP by people. I get snapped at for not being able to lift crap up onto shelves at work. People laugh and point at my mother because she walks funny. I get what it's like not to be equal to everyone else. I also understand it's hard to understand how it is to be different. I've always been one to compromise because if I didn't, I'd go crazy at the plethora of places we go that aren't handicapped accessible. It sure would make my mom happy if she could go to some places, but hey, some places just aren't handicapped accessible. I understand that there is ADA acts that make it so every place has to be accessible to the disabled (basically, there has to be a ramp outside) if it's post 1992. Anything before that doesn't matter. Do you know how many buildings were created before 1992? A whhooollleee lot. Something that everyone is familiar with: Walt Disney World. Did you know that the GF only has 5 handicapped rooms? 5 frickin' rooms in a 900 room facility.

A little more than 60 years ago, we started fighting in a war against purists because what they were doing was WRONG, yet what are we? Who lynched people just because they were a different skin color than us? What country doesn't allow people whom are in love to just get MARRIED? Oh right, that's us.

Get off your high horse United States, we're just as, or maybe more, corrupt as those countries we say we despise.

brianna = not in a good mood right now. Tummy hurts.

And now I'm craving girl scout cookies.

This season has a whole different feel to it, don't ya think?
I agree Brianna. I often think how United States is on such a high horse, yet we're far from perfect.

Humans are stupid. Don't people realize how much better life would be if we just didn't fight with each other?

I know. I don't understand why people can't just let people be happy for a change. Why there always has to be a conflict. Even in the happiest and most magical place on earth people are being discriminated against. At Disneyland, I was in an electric scooter because I was going for 3 days and I get really tired after a half a day at a theme park, and my legs kinda just stop working and I fall very easily. I was trying to get out of the exit to Peter Pan's Flight and instead of helping the cast members LAUGHED at me. It wasn't as if I was gone and they were gossiping "OMGZ DIDZ YOU SEE THAT GURL" "OMGZ I KNOW WE'RE SO CLEVER AND PERFECT". I was right NEXT to them and they pointed and went "OMG LOSER" and laughed. Finally this lady told them they should be ashamed of themselves and helped me turn my scooter around. That shut them up, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place!

BLAH.
