Another question!

Thank you mmouse37 and Squirk! Sounds just the place I want.

The other responses were really getting me down and I was starting to think this might be our first and last Fantasy cruise! I know sun loungers are a difficult subject but thought by the practices on the European cruises we have done we were very good compared to a lot of passengers who 'reserve' loungers early with towels, books etc then disappear for hours. Some even do that then go on a half day excursion!!

Some of the responses certainly make me wonder how much we're going to enjoy the cruise which is my birthday present from my partner!

Even though these boards can make it seem like there are knock down drag out fights over sun beds is not the reality. Yes, some people hog them but in 33 DCL cruises over the years I have only seen one or two heated disagreements!

The reality is if you go earlier than later to the pool areas you can get sun beds. The Fantasy is an amazing ship and I am sure you will have a fantastic time!!! There are a lot of sun beds all around the upper decks near the adult pool areas. There really are only about 6 sun beds that are in the sun adjacent to the quiet cove pool. The majority of the other sun beds adjacent to the quite cove pool are in the shade. Just go up one Deck to 12 and there are plenty of sun beds and even more up on 13 forward by Satellite Falls. Below are pics of some of the sunbeds on the Fantasy. Some at Satellite Falls, some on Deck 12 near the wading pool (not adult only area but plenty of sunbeds). Also, port days are a great time to get sun beds as well. We like to head off the ship and then get back fairly early and relax by the pool.



In the pic below, see the six sun beds with towels on them? They are the only ones that get sun during the morning early afternoon that are directly by the Quite Cove Pool. the rest of the sunbeds behind them are in the share due to being under the deck above.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! mmouse37 you have made me very happy! Was beginning to get worried! I will start looking forward to my 60th now - it's the week before the cruise so I've got be be 60 to go on the cruise and now I'm looking forward to being 60!!

Don't think I'll get up to 33 cruises but hopefully this will be the start!
