My trip is getting closer so now I am thinking of more things that I might need answers on...

So I understand that when we are there DL opens at 9 and Toon town opens at 10. Now we have tickets for the toontown madness morning. So I understand that this means we go into toontown for 9.
So my question is do we need to lineup for rope drop before 9 and then rush over there? Is the parade and activities throughout the hour or does everything start at 9 and then end and the rest of the time is to get autographs?
I am just not sure how this works....

For TTMM, there is a little ceremony that happens about 5 min after DL's main rope drop. So yes, it starts at 9. After that, you are free to roam around Toontown, collecting autographs and riding the two rides.

However, if you come late (between 9 and 10), they will still let you in with your vouchers. You just won't have as much time to do Toontown. The lines should still be very minimal though. Toontown doesn't usually get really crowded until early afternoonish.

What is a toontown madness morning, I've never heard of it.

It is basically early entry into Toontown for guests who buy official vacation packages (and only those guests). Since Toontown opens an hour later than DL's official park opening every day, TTMM allows these guests to enter Toontown right at official park opening to get character autographs and ride Gadget's Go Coaster/Roger Rabbit before the lines get long later. TTMM is only offered Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The show doesn't start until about 15 mins. after rope drop, so as long as you go straight to TT after you enter, you will be fine and you will not miss anything. They give people plenty of time to get back there before the show starts. Some of he characters will be out for autographs at 9, when TTMM starts, or you can get the autographs after the show ends, during the rest of TTMM.

Another great benefit of attending Mickey’s Toontown Morning Magic is that you are in the park prior to the general public. A little hint is to head directly to a popular ride in the park as soon as Morning Madness is over, this will get you a jump on the line."
