another question: dif between cat 11 or 12?

ooPPPSSS.....just noted on one of my quotes that it is a quote for a category 12, where as the others are a category 11. what is the difference....which would you do?

I believe the only difference in 11 & 12 is the location. Do you want to be on Deck 1 or 2, that would be a Cat 12.

Cat 11's are higher up. We stayed in a Cat 11 on Deck 6 our last trip.

Sure, go to the disney cruise site , go as though you are making a booking and it will show all categories and locations on deck plans, you don't need to go as far as giving details to look at this.

Check between your front door and storm door, Mickey just made a Special Delivery to your house. This is an older version DCL video that I had, but it has a booklet in there showing you the diagram of the ships.

Are there different layouts for Cat. 11 rooms? I noticed that 5009 runs the length of the hallway,unlike the other Cat. 11s.. Any idea what the layout difference is?

The only difference between Cat 11 and Cat 12 is location. All of the Cat 12 staterooms are located on Deck 2 forward. The Cat 11 staterooms are on Decks 5, 6 & 7.

There are no differences between the Cat 11 staterooms that face in different directions. I had a CM tell me they went onboard and walked off the staterooms because those that face lengthwise just looked larger inside. The result was that they are the same size.

Same size room, just different deck.

You can't book a room that holds less people than the amount in your party...so no free upgrades that way

Also, if you book a 12 and then try to add a person, if there are no 11's available, you can't add the person
