At first I was convinced the best thing to do would be to rent a double stroller. Then I've seen posts about how uncomfortable the WDW strollers are. I will be taking a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old. I am thinking now about bringing my own light wt. strollers from home. I will probably need something to cart my 2 yr old in while walking from the park to transportation, back to hotel, etc. Right???? We will not have a car while there.

I think most of the posts are people posting that they didn't rent one because they looked uncomfortable. The strollers are not suitable for infants, but are for toddlers and older kids.
Over the years, I've seen lots of kids riding in them in the parks and those kids all looked very comfortable. There have also been a lot of posts from people who said the park strollers worked out very well for their kids. But I don't remember reading any posts who said they used the park strollers and their kids were not comfortable.
If I was there with a 4 year old and a 2 year old, I would probably bring a stroller for the 2 yr old and rent one (if needed) for the 4 yr old.

using that option as well. :)

We have twin 3 year olds (almost 4 yrs old) and bring our own double stroller because our twins nap right in the stroller so we want something they are used to and comfortable with. That is not to say they wouldn't be comfortable in a rented stroller, though, because we've never tried it. But I can say that if you are staying at a monorail resort or an Epcot resort that it is nice to leave the child(ren) sleeping in the stroller as you walk or monorail back to your resort.

We rented a double one for our kids last trip--they were 4,4 and almost 3 at the time. They were very comfortable, and the doubles pushed so easy...way easier than any of our doubles have pushed at home. They are very roomy, and the kids had plenty of space. Perfect for older toddlers/kids.
