Another question about modifying party size

My son in law and grandson will have to return home 2 days earlier than we originally thought.
My DD, my 2 other grandsons and I will remain in WDW for those last 2 days.
We all have FPs, including my son in law and grandson who will be returning home.
I thought I could just ignore/not do anything about the FPs that will go unused, the ones that were booked for son in law and grandson. But now I'm wondering, since we are all linked together on MDE will the fact that son in law and grandson's FPs are not being used, effect the ability for the rest of us to get a 4th FP?
Obviously they won't have entered the park, since they won't be there, but just wondering about this after reading another thread with a similar type question.
Will it effect us in any way?
TIA

No, it won't affect the remaining guests at all. In terms of FP+, you are not tied together as a group. Each FP+ is linked to the individual profiles in MDE, so once an individual's first 3 FP+ are used, that individual can then book 4, then 5, then 6, etc.

As long as they are not selected for the future FP, it should not be a problem. We have had 7 of us and made 3 different FP as a number 4 or 5 for different attractions.

I would still cancel their FP to make them available for other guests, but no, it wouldn't affect you.

Thank you all. Sorry I didn't even think of canceling their FPs. Will do that.
