Another Question About Magical Express

I just read somewhere that the earliest I could check my bags and get my boarding pass to go home with Magical Express is 12 hours in advance.

In December, I have a 5:30 am flight home.

If the desks are only open 6am - 2pm, that means I won't be able to use the luggage service and pre-check in for my trip home.

I was planning on sleeping in, checking out as late as possible, turning in my luggage and get my boarding pass right before 2pm, then head to the parks and close down PI. Then I would arrive back at my resort about 2:30 am, just in time to freshen up at the pool shower, and get on my Magic Express bus.

Any thoughts??

Only certain airlines have the resort checkin. Not sure about the 12 hour rule BUT the hours of the resort checkin desk are timed to the resort check out time. I think resort check out is 11:00 and I don't think you can even get late checkout past 1:00p. It sounds like you're paying for an extra night but leaving before the resort check in desk is open.

You may wind up having to take your own luggage on the bus.

I won't be staying at a resort the last night. My reservation ends on Wednesday, and my flight is Thursday morning. I planning on sleeping in till 10:30-11:00 on Wednesday, getting checked out, then turning in my luggage with Magical Express before 2pm on Wednesday. I won't have a room Wednesday night.
