another question:

Oh yeah, does anyone have a favorite grocery store within walking distance of the paradise pier hotel?

I noticed that there is a food 4 less, but wondered if there was anything better/closer.










I thought I read this somewhere, but wanted to confirm:

If I'm staying at the PPH, can I swim at the other on site hotels?

Also, I bought a 6 day park hopper. If I wanted to add another day, does anyone know how much would that be?

I'm not much help with the questions you have, but curious about the pool thing. We are going to be there in 3 days as well!!!! We're staying the first 2 nights at the DL Hotel & then moving over to the Tropicana for the other 5 nights.

I thought I read somewhere that you can only do that if you are part of the DVC, but I am not 100% sure on that.

No pool hopping.

To add another day, it should just be the difference between what you paid and what a 7 day would be. What complicates things is that they might not be selling the 7 day anymore.

I don't believe pool hopping is allowed.

I know for sure the pools at the CGH are only for guests staying at the CGH.

All three of the DLR hotels' pools require the swipe of your keycard to get in. The pool gates at the GCH and the DLH are always locked, so you'd for sure need a key card to get in. However, the gate at the PPH is sometimes left unlocked, although it does have a key card box to swipe a card through if it's locked.

The only time I've ever seen any kind of pool hopping allowed is if a pool is closed for maintenance/renovation at one of their hotels, and then they'll allow their guests to use the pool at another DLR hotel.

Unfortunately there is no pool hopping. Although you could infaltrate your way in by making friends with other guests. I've done that before lol.

I don't know that I would consider any of the grocery stores within walking distance. Try mapping how far it is to drive and that will give you an idea how far it would be to walk to. I know a lot of people go to the Target and also do the grocery delivery from Albertsons.
