Another question about AKL...

Hi all,

I have another question based on some responses to my other thread about AKL.

What is there for adults to do there? Is the hidden Mickey hunt for adults or just kids? We are just two kid-like adults. We'd probably partake in all of the activities if they'd let us.

There is a tour of the lodge itself by a Disney Castmember that you can sign up for; check with the front desk. While this is for all ages, it is definitely geared toward the adult. Of course, there is the lounge also, for that before-bedtime stop.

Hey well just be missing you at the AKL! We check in the day you guys leave! lol Anyways, weve never stayed at the AKL before however, we are kid-like adults ourselves and my cast member friends actually recommended this resort to us because they thought it would be fitting to our personalities. So chances are it sounds like the activities are for all. I know anyone can participate in story time by the fire, and there are 2 hot tubs, one is a bit more secluded and you can see animals from it which apparently is awesome. I've been told its like experiencing Christmas morning at night. The hidden mickey hunt I'm sure anyone can do as well since we have done that in the parks. Have a blast!

Do the culinary tour. You see how the restaurants operate and also get samples of the food from Boma and Jiko! It's very interesting and free of charge!
Also, The lounge has a nice atmosphere and we got a yummy cheese and flatbread plate that was sooo good.
