Another problem booking ADR's

Hi,
Tried to book my ADR'S yesterday, and had a pretty miserable time of it!:sad2:
The main problem I came up against was when I gave my UK booking ref, the CM couldn't find us. She kept repeating my details, and then saying she was trying to get help. Then after nearly half an hour, she said she couldn't get help, and as we had booked last Dec, we were on the old system, and she only had the new system, so I would have to ring back!!!:headache:
I then asked what I should do when I did ring back, as I didn't want to go through all this again, and she went away, came back and said someone was helping her. She then gave me 2 new reference no's, and said I had to use them instead, as my UK ref didn't show any of our details.:confused3
Finally, after being on the phone for nearly 45 mins, when she tried to book my ADR's she said I wasn't within the 90 days and had to ring back today!!:rotfl:
I don't know how many times I repeated to her that we were booked into OKW from 24th Aug, or how many times she asked me to confirm it; so surely she must've realised ?!? Oh well, I was too keen I suppose, and at least I had the correct No when I phoned today to book!
Has anyone else been told they were on the old system?? Also, if you booked last year and haven't had to book your ADR's yet, I would get on to Dis UK, because it was just so frustrating!!!!!

how frustrating :headache: I am calling tomorrow so i will let you know how i get on :goodvibes

I'm sure it's a myth that you can book on the UK res number.

We called Disney UK the day before we needed to make or ADR's and was told that we didn't need the US number and that the US call centre had been told that they had to use the UK res number. They gave use a UK number to phone that would go through to the US call centre.

Well the next day we called to make our ADR's and guess what they couldn't find us under the UK res no. But there was no problem in finding our booking when we gave them our details. The CM also gave us our US res no so that we had no problems in future

I've read so many people having these problems. We've booked through VH and told Disney dining we are booked with UK travel company and they accepted that, just asked when we were checking in. There are so many horror stories about making ADR's I was so lucky making ours without a problem.

Loads of luck! I rang today and got most of mine booked, luckily the number she gave me worked:thumbsup2. Just have to call back tomorrow for the last couple. Of course it wasn't helped by the fact she had a very strong spanish accent, and I'm cockney!! Every 'e' was 'a', and vice versa!!

We did the same thing last year but I've heard with the new system they need to a reservation number in.

Not sure how correct this is. :confused3

I made mine early april so may just have got in before all the trouble started! For goodness sake dont they realise not everyone booked through Disney US or UK and can't always get their Disney reservation number from their TA's.
