Arrived back late last night and have finally defrosted.

Had a great time, marred somewhat by a trip to the hospital for my 4yr old daughter who was pushed down the steps - by an adult - coming off the train (the one that goes round the park). Luckily she doesn't have a broken arm as was first thought.

Will do a full TR in the next few days.

OMG, your poor DD!

Glad your trip was good in spite of rude people!

Oh no, your poor DD !!

Glad you had a great trip otherwise.

omg your poor dd. i would have been so mad. that is the only complaint i have with dlrp, i know you get rude people everywhere but people being rude and obnoxious to kids is just plain stupid.

im glad it didnt ruin your trip and i can wait to hear more about it

Omg...that is awful, your poor daughter... I had a go at a Male adult who pushed his way through us as we were getting off the train as he was barging into our kids, he just couldnt wait.....anyway, glad you had a good time apart from your trip to hospital....

  OMG your poor daughter!

hope she is ok now

looking forward to your report

xx

Thanks  She is ok now, sort of. Her arm is very bruised and still sore but they x-rayed it and said that it was not broken.

I have to say, Disney were excellent in the way that they handled it although we did have to have security involved as my husband was having an 'altercation' with the man who did it....all because he wanted to get to the Character Express. This is a man and woman in their forties, no kids with them, and Jess was too slow walking down the steps

It was also quite eventful in that a woman got thrown off Star Tours while we were on it, and we also were chatting to Peter Kay in the Studios!

Poor DD with a bruised arm though! That jsut shouldn't happen. EVER!

Wow!!! What did the woman do to get thrown off?

And what was peter kay like? Did you sing the song to him?

Over and over and over again!

Glad you back and defrosted but your poor DD hope she feels better soon.I had to speak in a gruff tone to a number of people because of pushing incidents.

Well I didn't understand French but the jist of it was she sat right in the middle of a family of 4 as she wanted the middle seats and not the end as she was assigned. So after a few minutes of the CM being VERY strict, she moved to where she should have sat, but then refused to put her belt on! By this time he was very annoyed and radio-ed through for security who came and escorted her off to calls of 'Bravo' from all the French people on the ride

Peter Kay was nice - we were waiting to go on Cars and he was with his wife and 2 kids. He was freezing and looked bloody miserable....he said he didn't know what has possessed him to book France in January and that his kids were that cold the snot was freezing to their faces! He was just very normal - I sooooo wanted to ask for a photo of him but as we were just chatting I just couldn't do it. Hubby was stood at the top with my son as they didn't want to go on it and he said he was thinking 'Is that really Peter Kay she is talking to?' I did say that I bet he was staying in the posh hotel and he said 'too bloody right I am', but was also saying how expensive it was, and that he was taking the kids to McDonalds for their tea as it was cheaper! :rotfl2:

:rotfl:
pmsl @ snot frozen to their faces

omg : the woman being thrown off star tours  :rotfl:

glad your daughter is ok though and i am not surprised about your hubby,i know my hubby would have wanted to kill the guy if it was my son!

Welcome back! Your poor DD, cant believe what some people do t get what/where they want:eek: Horrible!

Glad you had a good time despite the accident:hug:

You did have an eventful time! Hope your DD is OK now though.

Your poor little girl! I don't blame your husband - he did well to just have an 'altercation' and nothing else!

I would love to meet Peter Kay! I just imagine he would be really nice.

Looking forward to a really detailed trippie!

OMG at the rudeness of some people, I'm not surprised at your husbands reaction. Your poor DD, hope she is feeling better soon and it didn't ruin her holiday.

Sorry to hear about your daughter, I don't think I would have stood back and let an adult get away with it either. (((hugs)))
