Another one character meals

At the moment I have CRT for the last night of our trip for the entire group that is going. However I'm thinking about changing it to breakfast the first day at Akershus instead. Should I make the change?
The kids going are 8 girl, 5 girl, and 1 boy. They really want to see Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, and Tangled (sorry can't think of who the princess is).
Which one would be my best bet don't really care about seeing Cinderella?

Never been to either, but I'm going with Akershus breakfast for my 2 1/2 year old DD, who requested princesses. I did not want to use 2 TS credits at CRT.

We have eaten dinner at CRT twice and breakfast at Akershus twice. We all loved CRT. Eating in the castle was special and my girls loved it. Akershus was good, but CRT was great.

We have been to both and much prefer Akershus. The princesses spent more time at our table, the food choice was better, etc.
However, if you are set on eating in the castle, then do so. It is your vacation and you should plan it to be "magical" in a way that works for your family.

However, you won't see Rapunzel at breakfast no matter what you do if I am not mistaken. At Akershus we saw Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Jasmine.

I kind of feel the same way about using 2 TS credits for CRT. They've not asked to do the princesses just doing it as an add bonus.

Thank you all for the replies. Would you rather stand in line to get the pictures and autographs with characters or just do a character meal?

We did Akershus dinner and CRT dinner in 2010, and Akershus breakfast in 2011. We had the same princesses for all 3 meals: Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Aurora, and Cinderella. My kids (DD8 and DS4) both prefer to meet the characters at meals and get autographs then, rather than spending our park time standing in lines. We had the best interactions at Akershus (with the exception of Cinderella at CRT--she was wonderful with DS when he was 2), but it is neat getting to eat in the castle at CRT.

I love CRT!!! there's just something very special about the castle to me and watching my dd hold her little wishing star in her hand with her eyes closed tight was priceless! But, considering its 2 table service credits and you're likely to see the same princesses akershus is a better deal for breakfast. I've been to crt and akershus twice and never seen jasmine... maybe on our next trip! Plus a lot of it is just luck of the day. When we did akershus in 9/2010 we had the last brkfst time with a pokey 2.5 yr old which made us the last people there eating. So late in fact that belle came out to prepare for the next round of guests. Because there was no one there yet, Belle called my dd over to her and they talked, hugged and danced for about 5-10 mins all alone. My dd still talks about belle singing her a song

The princesses are nice to meet at the meals but the pix are probably better at the official meet and greet because there are no people, tables and plates in the way. Also, on our last visit I was really surprised by how much interaction their was with the princesses at the official meet vs the meal. They actually spent quite a bit of time with my dd and because they only bring a few families in at a time it seemed very personal.

If you have princess lovers no matter what you do they're going to love it!!

Thank you all for your help. At this moment we have decided to cancel the character meals. Hopefully we will be able to get pictures taken at meet and greets. I've never had much luck at the ones at the park, line is either way too long, or they are about to leave.

Noooooooo!!!! CRT is my favourite restaurant in WDW or anywhere in the actual world, it's just so magical eating inside the castle.. The food is almost always great and I love the whole experience.

Don't misunderstand, Akershus is good too, but it can't beat CRT

I know there is something magical about eating in the castle. However out of respect to the mom of the kids. I've cancelled the character meals that I had planned out. She's thinking it will be a lot easier to get the pictures and signatures at meet and greets, however I disagree.
